Safety and Security Council

Mission Statement:
The Safety and Security Council is unique to Peace Corps Ukraine.  If a volunteer feels he or she has been the victim of a crime, but does not want to report it to Peace Corps for whatever reason, the volunteer may report the incident anonymously to their Safety and Security Council representative.  This is important because both Peace Corps Ukraine and Peace Corps Washington can still use the incident for their statistics.
Safety and Security Council members can also answer volunteers’ questions about safety procedures and will take suggestions and advice from volunteers about how Peace Corps security policy can be improved or clarified.
Volunteers should always feel free to call or email their representative to submit a report or ask any question.
